Katie McLeish

Hi, my name is Katie McLeish. I am currently a junior at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design majoring in Illustration. I have been creating art all of my life and love to mix between a multitude of materials! I specialize in painting, colored pencil and digital design. In the fall of 2024 I had a solo art show, “Whimsy”, on display in the North Crackatorim gallery space at MassArt. The event featured many works with a fantastical theme and a range of mediums from ceramics to oil painting. I take inspiration from relationships, nature and storytelling within my artwork. I love to create characters and develop airy, imaginative backgrounds. I plan to work as a full-time illustrator after graduation in 2026, with a focus on product design, book illustration, and game design.
